Kulturföreningen Cumbión Malmö is a cultural association founded in 2021 with the mission to promote artistic and social integration through the richness of Colombian culture. Expressed through art, music, and dance classes, including cumbia, the association strives to create an inclusive meeting place where people from diverse backgrounds can meet, learn from each other, and celebrate the colors, rhythms, and traditions that define Colombia’s cultural identity. 

At Congona Festival, they will hit the stage in a vibrant joint performance, delivering a showcase centered around traditional Colombian cumbia dance. 

In addition to their main stage performance, Kulturföreningen Cumbión Malmö will host a Children’s Artistic and Musical Exploration Workshop and a Cumbia Dance Steps Workshop open for everyone in the Brändan activity area.
